1. Quotations
A rate quoted for a consignment is valid for the date and load described. Freight rates move with diesel prices and vehicle availability, so a quote not acted on may be revised.
2. Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we allot a vehicle and give you the loading date. Until then, the enquiry is not a contract.
3. Loading and weight
The consignor is responsible for the accuracy of the declared weight and description of goods. Overloading beyond the permitted capacity of the vehicle is not accepted, and any penalty arising from a mis-declared weight is to the consignor's account. Loading and unloading labour is arranged by the consignor unless agreed otherwise in writing.
4. Documentation
The consignor must supply a valid invoice, e-way bill and any permit required for the goods before the vehicle departs. Detention or penalty caused by missing or incorrect documents is to the consignor's account.
5. Transit time
Transit times given on this website and in quotations are our normal expectation in ordinary conditions. They are not guaranteed. Delays caused by weather, road closure, strike, checkpost, breakdown, port congestion or any cause outside our control do not attract compensation.
6. Insurance
Goods are not insured by default. Transit insurance is arranged only when you request it before loading and declare the invoice value; the premium is added to the freight. Where no insurance is arranged, the goods travel at owner's risk.
7. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to what is recoverable under the transit insurance policy, where one has been taken. We are not liable for consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of market. Claims must be raised in writing within seven days of delivery.
8. Dangerous and prohibited goods
Hazardous, explosive, flammable, contraband or illegal goods are not accepted. Where such goods are tendered without disclosure, the consignor bears full responsibility for any consequence.
9. Detention and demurrage
Free loading and unloading time is as agreed at booking. Beyond it, detention charges apply at the rate advised for the vehicle type.
10. Payment
Freight is payable as agreed at booking — to-pay, paid or on account. Consignments may be held against unpaid freight. Payment terms for account customers are as separately agreed.
11. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Gandhidham, Kutch, Gujarat.
